The first event of the first event of the 2016-2017 season of ARMA Pittsburgh will be

Millennials, Law Firm IG, and Lollipop Moments – Oh My!

This meeting will be two parts:

ARMA September Business Meeting – Brianne Aul, President of the Pittsburgh Chapter, will be providing a comprehensive overview of the 2016 ARMA Regional Leadership Conference, and several of the fantastic initiatives that ARMA International is working on to benefit members – both seasoned and prospective! Brie will also be providing an overview of the Pittsburgh Chapter survey results, and how the 2016-17 program year will be structured to align with what members have asked for. She and other Board members will also be on hand to answer any questions you may have regarding ARMA.

Law Firm Information Governance Symposium Update – The Law Firm Information Governance Symposium has been underway for the past five years, and very recently, published their next set of reports on ISO 27001 in the legal industry, staying in compliance with client requirements, aligning KM with IG, and identifying the ROI of IG. Brie is a founding Steering Committee member of the LFIGS initiative, and will discuss what has been done in the past, and what will done in the future, to address the very unique – and not-so-unique- approaches law firms must take to address information governance within their environment.

Brianne Aul, CRM has been the Firmwide Records Senior Manager for Reed Smith LLP since 2009, a position to which she was promoted after serving as Records Supervisor for the firm’s Pittsburgh office since 2006. She has been with Reed Smith since 2001. Ms. Aul is the current President of the Pittsburgh chapter of ARMA, and became a CRM in December, 2014. Ms. Aul also received her B.A. in English from The Pennsylvania State University in 2001, and her M.B.A. from Waynesburg University in 2008.
