Come and join ARMA Pittsburgh for this special field trip to The Andy Warhol Museum. The museum is located on the North Shore at 117 Sandusky Street, next to the 7th Street Bridge (the Andy Warhol Bridge). The Warhol archivist Erin Byrne will lead us on an exclusive guided tour, learning about the life, works and hidden archival treasures of the Pittsburgh-born, Pop Art icon Andy Warhol.

Our tour may include a special guest who knew famous scenesters of New York’s Max’s Kansas City and The Factory scene. The largest museum in North America dedicated to a single artist, it contains many of Andy’s works and collaborations in multiple media – painting, printmaking, photography, drawing, sculpture, novels, periodicals (Interview magazine), film, and music. In the 1960’s he produced a series of paintings that you are sure to recognize! – Campbell’s soup cans, dollar bills, Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley, and Coca-Cola bottles.

Please remember, the tour will take place on Saturday, February 10, 2018. We will be on our own to meet at the museum around 9:50am, departing 10:00am The price for the tour is as follows:
  • the first 10 chapter members making a reservation will attend free of charge,
  • the first 10 guests of chapter members will be half price – $9 (the museum price is $18 for adults), and
  • the first 10 students with an I.D. will be free of charge.
  • Our tour is limited to 20 people, so please make your reservations soon.

RSVP no later than Monday, February 5 to Chris Nettrour at Once we have 20 people, we cannot accept additional attendees. Our chapter treasurer Josh will collect fees for ARMA’s special discounted tickets when you arrive.

Join afterward for an optional pay-your-way-networking lunch to catch up on the many changes to ARMA, AIIM and our professional fields. We will choose by consensus where to eat.

We’re going to have a great time and we look forward to seeing you there!
